According to the Hong Kong Tourism Board, Hong Kong has been voted Asia Pacific's Best Sightseeing City in the inaugural Seoul Tourism Awards 2008 by Seoul Koreans.

Seoul Koreans are the fifth largest source of visitors to Hong Kong with a double growth since 2002. In 2007, Hong Kong welcomed more than 876,000 South Korean visitors, almost 22% more than in 2006.
